After a happily uneventful flight,
We found ourselves in Miami
The night before we embark on our next big adventure.
We arrived in time for some pre-dinner games:
The hotel had lots of them in the lobby
Pool
And our new favorite—
“Four in a line”
(Clearly not an American-made product!)
Mom showed me up more times than I’d like to admit.
We walked to a nearby pizza place for dinner
But when we discovered we’d have to sit outside in the stifling Miami heat,
We opted for Dad’s pick—a Cuban restaurant.
It was pretty tasty.
We had hoped to swim when we got back
But pool hours were over.
We couldn’t just go to bed
So we sat up and played games at the hotel bar…
And are now obsessed with the game Wavelength.

Tonight was just enough distraction to keep us entertained
