A big swim night

Whelp, it started out a bit wet—
And we went on a lightning delay.
Good thing we had our swim caps to keep our hats dry!

The lightning delay gave us lots of time for art

A bit of Beckett’s handiwork

And then,
finally,
We were on the blocks!

Some Tucker times:
Another PR in freestyle, smashing his old time—16.85s, 4th overall
No PR in breast, but 2nd overall

For Beck:
No PR but 2nd overall in backstroke
A HUGE PR in breaststroke, taking off 1.6s to come in at 43.13s
And 1st overall.

And for Weston:
A new PR by over 1 second coming in at 33.09s, 8th overall
No PR in back but 3rd overall.
And always a pretty start.

But the REAL event tonight was the IM.
We all took on the challenge.

And blew it out of the water.

Tucker—
A new PR by nearly FORTY-ONE SECONDS,
Coming in at 1:51.50, 3rd place

Beckett—
A new PR by nearly TEN seconds at 1:34.96,
4th place overall

Weston—
A new PR by nearly THIRTEEN seconds,
Coming in at 1:27.07, 5th place

I mean, COME ON!
Another storm rolled in during the IM
(You can see the raindrops on the water)
So our free relays were cancelled
But no matter—
We put our stamp on the night!
