Aunt Mandy's big day

There are a LOT of birthdays

in our family in March:

Cousin Mikayla, Papa Kim,

Aunt Michelle, Weston...

and now it's Aunt Mandy's turn!

We went to Grandma and Water Bear's house for

fried catfish.

EVERYONE ate it up.

Let me tell you,

as far as first fish experiences go,

all other fish has a lot to live up to!

Water Bear and I checked out the pond and the ducks after dinner

We don't get much time,

just the two of us!

Grandma and I got some time together too!

After all that playtime,

we burned through the fish

and were ready for cake.

Jack was happy to help her celebrate.

Party aftermath

I got some pretty great stuff

for my birthday--

games, a vet kit, a chopping set.

The biggest hit was 

the Batman Cave and accessories

Of course I shared with my brothers--

I'm an excellent sharer--

but I did have some rules

and regulations they needed to go by

I don't get to be the boss very often.

I have to take the chance when it's offered!

"Minja" turtles are a new favorite

I got some Batman PJ's,

cape included.

How else would a superhero sleep?

FINALLY FOUR!

I have been SO excited for this day

for SO long!

MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!

AT XTREME GYMNASTICS!

We patiently listened to the rules...

And then we were off!

Jack conquered the rock wall...

he made it to the top twice!

But the very bestest favorite

was probably the 2 story slide...

We were exhausted

But there is alway energy (and room) for cake!

It was really nice of my cousins and friends

to come celebrate with me!

364 days until the next one...

Carnival!

A HUGE perk of elementary school

is the CARNIVAL!

We'd never been to one before.

Let me tell you,

we will be back!

We tried out the 

Pony Race

That was a blast!

The Hamster Balls

I ran that one

with ease!

West had a turn

He fell out of the whole once

and the ball rolled away without him,

but it didn't slow him down for long

We played some games

and more games

and MORE games!

But our favorite game of the night?

The Cake Walk!

Weston won and chose a package of donuts.

We were so excited, 

we forgot to take a picture.

But trust me,

it was AWESOME!

(And did I mention that

TODAY was his birthday?

Double Awesome.)

The 4 year old marathon...

I've been very proud to be 3 and 1/2.

And I've been VERY excited to turn 4!

This kind of big event calls for SEVERAL days of celebration!

When it's your birthday,

you get to choose where to go for dinner with the whole family.

I chose Buffalo Wild Wings.

They have corn dog nuggets.

And Grandma brought me a present!

Even better!

It was a mail bag with lots of pieces of mail

and a mailbox

(and some craft supplies, a design-your-own-plate,

and a few other things).

The mailbag was

(and continues to be)

a HUGE hit!

And what would be a birthday

without

CAKE???

Did I mention this was a birthday marathon?

Following my birthday dinner,

the next morning

Mom took me to Starbucks

for my birthday drink.

The whole store said "Happy Birthday" to me!

One month shy of the big one...

Another month has passed,

and I'm full of more tricks!

I LOVE my bath!

 And I LOVE to stand!

I love to swing too!

I'll eat just about anything you pass my way

(table food please!)

And depending on the day,

sleep seems to be getting easier.

Finally.

(Today at least)

Lots of babbling,

but still no words.

I'm happy

And silly

I LOVE hanging out with my brothers

(they make me laugh out loud)

And they love to hang out with me
