Our second meet of the season was tonight
And it didn’t disappoint.
Weston has the best backstroke starts!!
His times:
He was on the B relay team for both relays, coming in 3rd for both
Freestyle—first in his heat, but no PR (35.19s)
Backstroke—new PR by 0.12 seconds, 3rd overall (39.66s)
Breaststroke—not his best night (although it looked good!), adding over 2.5 seconds
As for Beck:
He was so excited to be back on the A relay team,
Coming in 2nd for the medley and 3rd for free
Freestyle—added some time, 11th overall
Backstroke—a new PR by 3.76s and 3rd overall! (44.82s)
Breaststroke—a new PR by over 1.5s and 2nd overall (44.76s)
And last but certainly not least, Tucker:
He was on the A medley relay, cruising in to a mean 2nd place.
Freestyle—no PR but 5th overall
Backstroke—the first attempt since last summer, took off nearly ELEVEN seconds
Coming in at 6th overall (24.63)
Breaststroke—no PR but 3rd overall
The big story though was the free relay.
He swam the 3rd leg and CRUSHED it,
Bringing his team from 4th to nearly 1st
Before their anchor easily cruised them to the first place position.
It was awesome.
Another great night in the pool!
