I found these ears on the stairs

and managed to get them on my head

all by myself.

Then my brother stole them

and insisted on getting HIS picture taken.

Hmph.

Boyisms

There are so many things the boys say that crack us up.  Daily.  We try to remember them, but they are so quickly lost.  These posts are to hopefully capture their humor and help us remember the laughs.

Beckett (about 6 months ago...)
I get dat bug
I get dat rabbit
I eat all my meat.  I get dessert.  I don't care.
I wuv you.  I wuv Jack.  I wuv Tucker.  He's soft.
I not crying.  All done crying.
I wear underwears.  I not wear diapers.
I need a kleenex to wipe my tears.
Tucker is my best brother.

And more recently...
When I'm not paying attention--"Mama!  I am talking to you!"
When I'm butting in--"Mama!  I am not talking to you.  I talking to Weston."
When he's not being heard--"Hey!  It is MY turn to talk!"

Jack
I think his last name is "Inick" because Mrs. Burbee is always calling him "Dom Inick"

A few months back, we were out to dinner when a dance troop of about 20 15 to 16 year olds came in with a few little sisters who were probably 7 to 9 years old.  They were grinning and giggling in Jack's direction but he was completely oblivious.  When we got outside and I asked him if he had noticed what was going on and he said he didn't know what I was talking about, I pointed out that the girls were all fussing over him and he freaked out!  He was so embarrassed and kept saying they weren't looking at him, no way.  Weston jumped in and said they were just looking at Jack, "they were looking at BOTH of us!" and threw his arm around Jack.  When we were out for ice cream, Dad teased that the girls had followed us over and Jack immediately turned bright red and hid his face in his coat.  Weston went running to find them.  Their differences are hilarious.

Weston
Discussing his kids--he's going to have 3 (it use to be 4).  2 boys and a girl.  The girl is Elsa.  The boys are Kia (from Ninjago) and Jake (Weston's friend).  Or maybe Jack instead.  If it is 2 girls, it will be Elsa and Anna and Kia.  If he can pick a wife amongst is hundreds of admirers that is (according to Wes...)

At Valentine's, Weston spent a long time picking out a box of chocolates for Mika, his "girlfriend."  Then he decided to give it to Addie, his "new girlfriend" as we were checking out.  When we got to the car, he asked if it was ok to give it to Jillian.  When I asked why, he said "because she likes me the most!"

The day started out with waking to decorations

just for me

all over the house.

I was so excited, I let out a little gasp

as I came down the stairs.

Then Mom and I stopped for a special drink

and then to school to celebrate

with cupcakes with my friends.

We finished off with pizza and cupcakes 

to celebrate with the fam

Tuck was so excited to get his own piece

He thought he'd won the lottery

Quick escape

Mom had to work today,

but as soon as she got home from work,

we made a break for the cabin!

Ahh!  Kickin' it on the deck!

There was a lot of dancing

And playing

A little sitting

And a lot of fun

The next morning,

we hit the Path for some fresh air and exercise

We threw some rocks,

caught some bugs,

and discovered that part of the lake was missing!!!

(Grandpa was feeling a bit sick)

The biggest event of the weekend

was the Ranger...

We bought it from Grandpa and Grammy J!

I feel a lot of adventure coming our way...
