Scouts and Fish

Today was the annual

Boys Scouts Fishing Derby

Weston gave it a try

And so did I

Dad gave Beckett a few pointers

A lovely night for some fish

Only two of us got lucky:

Beckett trying to look happy about his new friend

Mom looking really happy about hers

The rest of us got skunked.

Guess that's why it's "fishing"

and not "catching"

Daddy brings out the best in us

Only Daddy can bring out a smile like this!

Another year has begun...

Mom, Dad, Beckett, and Tuck went to the

Boo-hoo breakfast after we were all dropped off.

No boo-boos from them though!

Just excitement for us.

The next day was
one more big first:

Meet the teacher? Already?

It's finally here...

school is about to start!!!

I couldn't be more excited.

Jack was just excited to show me around.

We met Mrs. Palmer

and Ms. Magers.

We unpacked our school supplies.

We bought HPE yearbooks and t-shirts.

We tried to memorize where our classrooms are. 

This calls for a celebratory dinner out...

with celebratory drinks for Dad (and Mom)...

Weston's last day

I've been at Winterset Montessori for 2 years now.

Me and Ms. Pam, all the way!

I learned to count, read, write, spell, 

share, help, and be a good friend.

I guess it's time to take this show on the road!

Thanks for everything, Ms. Pam!!!

Take me out to the ball game!

We haven't been yet this year!!!

Even the cheap seats aren't bad seats!

Did we mention it's Tucker's first game?

He got a special certificate for the special occasion.

We watched some of the game.

But we, of course, needed to spend some time in the Little K.

Us big boys played mini golf

Beck went on the merry-go-round

A perfect night for a ball game

A perfect family night out!

My first bath with brothers

My older brothers all shower or bathe

together every night

and I'm always on my own.

So when Weston suggested jumping in with me tonight,

Mom thought that sounded like a good idea.

Definitely a good idea!

Progress as promised!

We became the proud owners of a double wide

over a year ago.
