Rough night

When Mom put me to bed last night, things were calm and quiet, I went right to sleep, all the animals where in there places (I snuggle with my blanket Fred, not really with Lion or Curly).  But when Mom came to get me up this morning, it would appear Lion, Curly, Fred and I had quite the party last night.  At least it looks like we all had a good time.

Cheese!

I have quickly learned that when the camera comes out, I am suppose to smile and say "Cheese!"  So here I am, cheesing it up.

A Cowboy Bath

People say cowboys never take off their boots--they sleep in them, eat in them, ride in them.  Well, consider me a cowboy.  I take my bath in them.

Playing in the street

I'm not really playing in the street.  Mom and Dad are trying to teach me where the boundaries of our yard are.  Mom just thought this was a funny picture.  Oh, and "MIZ-"!!!

Washing dishes

I really like to help out around the house.  I especially like washing dishes because of all the "bubules" (that's sort-of how I say it).  Mom caught us men in action.

?What?!?

This is me and Kelly.  We were just hanging out, minding our own business, when everyone started laughing at me.  (Check out my armrest--Kelly didn't mind, why should anyone else?)

"Ou-side!!!"

Did I mention how much I like to be "ou-side"?!?!

After my nap on Sunday, Mom, Dad and I headed to the park.

There was this fun bridge that shook up and down when Mom and I jumped on it.

I tried jumping on the platform next to the bridge, but it didn't work quite as well.

There were fun chimes to bang.

And there were all sorts of tunnels to run through.
Yes, that is Dad's head at the end of the tunnel.
He's silly sometimes.

The Zugelter Wedding

Today, Mom and Dad's high school friend Allen got married.  It was my first wedding, and boy was it fun!

Here I am in my new outfit.  Pretty handsome, huh?  I was a hit with all the ladies.

Mom, Dad, me and Grandma P

We watched the nervous groom's father practice his speak in the back of the reception hall...

His speech was really good!

Me and Mom, smiling pretty

Then me and Grandma J hit the dance floor.  I really liked all the blinking lights.

These are all of Mom and Dad's high school friends.  They've all been friends a looooong time, way before even I was around.  Mom and Dad said it was great to have everyone together again.  Even Molly flew in from Arizona and Amy drove in from Georgia!

Mom and Grandma J

So there is this coconut man named "Tiki Man" that Mom and Dad bought for there wedding reception a long time ago.  There had been a battle over who keeps him.  Basically, if you can steal it from someone's house, you keep him until someone steals him from you.  He's been with Molly in Arizona for about a year now.  Dad tried to steal him back but got caught.

Tiki didn't fit up the shirt very well.

Then Brad stole him.  Mom and Dad say he better watch his back.  They have a plan...

My favorite Uncle Shane passed out during the wedding.  Mom said she had never actually been to a wedding where someone had passed out before.  He went very grey and Dad and Mike had to carry him off the alter.  Then Mom (the doctor), Molly and Andrea (two nurses), two EMT's that happened to be in the audience, and a really old guy who said he was a doctor came flying out of the audience to make sure he was ok.  It was pretty exciting.

This is Shane re-enacting the event.

It was a fun night.  Mom and Dad even got to stay up late with their friends because I went home with Grandma P.  They said it felt like old times.

Here is the happy couple, Ashley and Allen.
Congrats and Best Wishes!

 Is there anymore cake?

Saturday morning

Saturdays are always lots of fun.  Last Saturday morning, Mom let me help make the chocolate chip muffins.  I just had to taste them...

Then after breakfast, it was time for some bike riding.

I really love pulling my feet up out of the way and having Dad push me around.

Yeah, it was pretty fun.

Doesn't that face say it all???

Mikayla's getting bigger!

Mom and Dad went to visit Mikayla again.
She's looking much better without all the equipment.  That's just a little feeding tube in her nose.
Mom loves her hat.

Isn't she cute?

The other Bubba

Today we went to Grandma J and Grandpa Mike's house for dinner to celebrate Aunt Amanda's birthday. Before dinner, Grandpa took me out to meet Bubba, his horse. We met once before, and I was not thrilled, but here's to try number two.

Grandpa and Mom (and now Dad) always call me "Bubba"...I guess this is where it came from.

It was a long walk out to the pasture...

At first, I just took Bubba in.  He was really big!

I helped Grandpa pour his corn in his bowl.

Then Grandpa put me on his back.  I wasn't so sure at first and squirmed to get down, but then I wanted to go right back up.  Grandpa might have found a new riding partner.

Me and Grandpa.
Check out my camo.

After a big dinner of fried catfish and potatoes (which I ate too!), Grandma and I played train.

Then, it was time for everyone to go home.  Here I am with the cake lid on my head, kissing Aunt Amanda good-bye.

I had such a good time, I fell asleep on the way home.  That's always a good sign fun as been had...

Dinner with the Petrikins

This is my new friend Annika and her little brother Soren.  Their dad, Josh, works with Mom at CMH.  He's one of those "fellows" she talks about all the time.

We went out to eat on Saturday night with them.  We went to the 810 Zone--boy was that cool!!!  I've never seen so many TV's.  I was quiet for a good 30 minutes.  Mom and Dad said they couldn't remember the last time they got to have adult conversation over dinner.

Beth, Josh, Soren, and Annika--thanks for coming out with us!

Computer time

Mom says the AAP recommends no screen time (TV's, video games, computers) for kids under the age of 2 years.

I say, if I don't update my blog, who will?

This is easy.

Welcome Mikayla Rene!

This is my new cousin, Mikayla. She was born today at 31 weeks (that is a little more than 2 months early). She weighs 3 pounds, 6 ounces. My aunt Michelle was having all sorts of problems (bleeding, contractions), was hospitalized twice, and so finally, the baby came early. Mom said this is way too much mixing of work and family!!!
She's very cute and way cuter now since they pulled that breathing tube out. In a couple of months, she'll get to go home! Austin and I can't wait to play with her at Grandma's! Grandma P is really going to have her hands full!
By the way, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Adam are doing fine.
