Nachos, bowling, and NYE

Finally, the next holiday has arrived!

We headed out to El Maguay to kick off our NYE
with some chips and cheese!
More than one kind of "cheese" apparently...

Tom and Amy were in town for the event!

And we got to hang with Cooper again!

Tom kept the fun going with some funny videos on his phone.
He may be Jack's new best friend.

Then, we headed to the bowling alley to celebrate in style...

with our PRIVATE lanes!!!

Jack thought it was pretty great

I just liked the hats

The Reed Men,
hard at work,
pulling those strikes

Mika and Mike,
making a go of it

The night ended with Chelsea coming to babysit me and Jack
while Mom and Dad headed back out for some "adult time."

I was too exhausted to partake,
but Chelsea and Jack toasted the New Year with some
sparkling apple juice as the clock struck 0000
(ok, Mom set a timer, but the fun was still there)
What will 2012 bring???

Christmas Fun take 3

Uncle Mark has been out of the country,
and then the Drabenstotts went on a cruise,
so Woods Family Christmas was a bit delayed this year.
No matter,
it was worth the wait!

Aaron and Grandpa caught up a bit

And Mom and I enjoyed some tasty ham and cheesy potatoes

There was a lot of texting going on...
Wonder what they were saying?

Check this out...
Did you know there was CANDY in this Pez dispenser???

Chelsea and Jack played with the train of course

Before long,
it was time for MORE PRESENTS!!!

What could it be?

After opening a dig-dig and tractor,
it was time for more wrestling!

Then some quality time with family...
We love Cousin Matthew

And Aunt Peggy has a great lap for playing with cars

Uncle Mark and Grandpa talked about something deep it would appear

And Dad and Aunt Mandy hung out too
It is really over?
No more Christmas parties?
How many days until next year???
What is the next holiday?
(All real questions asked by Jack)

The aftermath

What do you do in the days after Christmas?

Since it's 60 degrees,
take the new bike for a spin!
(Dad and I went all the way around the block!
I won't forget the helmet next time...)

 Play with the new puppies

Try out the new dry erase board
Check out my Spiderman!

 And recuperate!!!

Merry Christmas!

When we awoke Christmas morning,
we could hardly wait to see if Santa had come.
Had we been good?
Would we get any presents?

Apparently, we made the "Nice" List...

HE CAME!!!

A 2-wheeler bike for me!!!

A digger for Wes!!!

And a slew of other goodies

Just what I wanted!
Take the 2 things I love the most and put them together...
A CHRISTMAS TRAIN!!!

Grandma and Grandpa came back over for breakfast
(Aunt Mandy had slept over)

We played a game of Go Fish

And took the bike for a spin again

Then Grandma and I set up my new marble set...
so cool!

After a few hours nap
(and a bit of time to straighten back up the house!),
we headed to Grandma Phyllis's for Christmas dinner...

AND MORE PRESENTS!!!

We got some books, games, a spaceship...

and Wes got a new Tractor Ted.
He was in heaven!

Grandma and Mom conspired and made us these cool capes

What do you think?

They make us run FAST!

REALLY FAST!

Did you catch that?

What a great day!
Happy holiday!!!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Hello!  And welcome to our home!

We hope you find the accommodations
as lovely as we do!

The placecards are handmade
by Wes and I

And the meal tonight is stuffed salmon, prosciutto-wrapped asparagus,
white cheddar macaroni, and salad
DELISH!!!

Anyway,
after we were all stuffed on dinner,
the real fun began!

Amanda and Wes wrestled...

And went for an unconventional car ride

Then we had a dance party with Grandma Janice

Oooo, love that Sleigh Ride and Jingle Bells!

And love that Grandma Janice!

Then it dissolved into more wrestling...

Rather unusual technique!

Hmmm,
Wes 1, Jack 0

Dad couldn't resist

But wait!
It's a trick!
He's stripping us down for PJ's!!!

This is a pretty exciting way to get dressed!

Dad 1, Jack still 0

Belly raspberry!!!
Make that Wes 2, Jack 0

Grandpa could resist the music any longer...

He just had to kick up his heels!

Alright,
time to hit the hay so the Big Man can come!!!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
