We brunched at the fancy Bellagio—
The DELISH restaurant, not the hotel—
Before we climbed on our fancy charter bus to Whistler.
It was a beautiful ride
Through the cherry blossoms and the mountains.
Before we knew it,
We arrived at First Tracks
And checked into our HUGE, 3 bedroom suite.
Mom and Dad are treating us GOOD!
But wait,
Then it got fancier.
They brought our ski equipment
TO OUR ROOM
For our fitting!
And then,
We got to put it in a special locker in the hotel
So it doesn’t clutter our room.
We felt so fancy!
We spent the evening
Checking out the local grocery story,
watching hockey with the Canadians
At Creekbread Pizza
(Highly recommend!),
And soaking in the outdoor hot tub.
We felt like we regulars.
The huge Whistler scene felt a little less overwhelming.
We think we’re going to like it here!
