Mom and Aunt Mandy
(Well, mostly Aunt Mandy—she’s got the coolest ideas)
Decided to take Mema glass blowing for Mother’s Day…
In 2025.
It took them a bit to coordinate schedules
But they got it done just in time
Before Mother’s Day 2026 rolled around.
They each made a vase
In matching colors
The blowing was through a tube
So it was a bit more hygienic
Then there was pulling on the neck to make it swirl
Mom’s turn—
Adding the colors to the glass
A bit of blowing
And the pulling
And then Mema
She was a pro
After watching twice
Nice and easy!
Now a bit of slooooow cooling for a few days
And we’ll see how they turn out!
