It’s Beckett’s bday party today…
But it’s turning out to be a very crazy day.
The schools all closed early,
Sending students home before a line of severe thunderstorms rolled in.
The guys all gathered a bit early
Before the storms hit.
They were enjoying the trampoline…
When the tornado sirens went off.
To the basement we go!
It was a legit threat—
They even had our street on the radar.
But thankfully,
It all blew over
And they were back to backyard shenanigans
Like football…
In the pouring rain.
We pushed back the reservation multiple times
Due to the weather
But we eventually landed at Top Golf
The boys had a blast
They weren’t particularly good,
But they had a good time.
Then it was home for cake
(Which apparently fell over
And refroze in the freezer)

They played a lot of games,
Watched some movies,
And actually went to sleep at a semi-reasonable time
So they were pretty peppy for breakfast in the morning
