Can you see it??!?!?
We're here!
WE MADE IT TO THE CRUISE!
It was a little stressful getting on--
there were a lot of lines,
a lot of double checking paperwork and COVID tests,
then we almost had to take another COVID test,
we worried our cousin Cooper wouldn't pass his COVID test...
but then we were walking up the gangplank
and OMG,
we're on the ship!
Mom said it was a sigh of relief to actually make it on.
Everyone took my advice and we headed
to Central Park for some lunch
I mean, I've been studying cruise ships for years now
in preparation for our next one!
Then we had to go check out our room and balcony
before we set out to see more of the ship
gotta love the Pringle gym
Tuck didn't remember but it was a favorite
last time too
Then we finally made it to the pool
I'm on vacation!
We all are!
(don't worry--Klusmeyers are too!
Kids gotta nap.)
But once naps were over
(or maybe given up on for today),
Cooper and Thea joined us
for some splashing
before we headed to dinner
and all the drinks and food we could hold
Our seating was a bit wacky
(and stayed that way the whole cruise--
come on, Royal Caribbean!)
but we made the best of it
by switching up our table arrangements every night
Pro of eating dinner at 5:00?
There's a TON of time after dinner
to do all sorts of other things!
We set out for more exploring
and wandered into the Solarium--
the adult's only part of the ship
Cooper and Beckett enjoyed the view--
not likely we'll be back in this part again!
All that ocean can make you pause.
Then we hit the Boardwalk to check out the carousel
Mom and I are clearly enjoying ourselves
Klusmeyers trying hard for a good picture
B and Mema
Geez. They'll let anyone on this thing.
Pappo and Dad definitely look like they want to join,
don't they?
Wow.
We made it.
Let's take a minute to celebrate
and take it all in
We topped off our first day
with a trip to the Bionic Bar
where we ordered waaaaay too many drinks
from the robots.
Then a bit of minigolf
and some planning for tomorrow
So long, Florida!
See you in a week!
