Sadly, today we are headed back towards Florida.
Happily, we still have 2 days of vacation to live up!
Mom and Dad have been starting most days
with a run on the track.
Not a bad view.
We spent the day on the water slides,
at the pool,
in the hot tub,
back on the slides
and then more pool.
There was a lot of eating and drinking in there too
(all the strawberry and mango smoothies please!)
We had to get all dressed up
because tonight was LOBSTER night!
I didn't know how to get it out of the shell
so our nice waiter helped me out.
Aunt Mandy surprised Mom and Dad
with a cake for their anniversary
Because 20 years calls for a round of
"Happy 'Versary"
It was a beautiful night
so we stopped for a family picture
before we were finally able to drag Mom and Dad
to the arcade for some fun.
We racked up a lot of tickets
but all the prize machines were broken.
Have no fear--
after 2 phone calls and a 30 minute wait,
Mom got someone to come up and give us
our well-earned prizes
(rubber ducks and something so awesome
I can't even remember what it was.)
We rode the Abyss
and then,
since Jack and Wes were bummed
they didn't climb last night,
we headed for the climbing wall.
Tuck decided to sit this one out.
We shimmied right up there again
I led the charge
Weston made it about 3/4
and Jack stopped halfway
(he doesn't love heights)
Then we settled in for the new James Bond movie
at the outdoor theater
(this is why Tuck didn't climb)
before Mom and Dad let US
get Sorrento's Pizza and a nightcap at the pub.
They couldn't resist a drink in Central Park
before turning in themselves.
Oh man.
This week has flown by!
