Our advent calendar this year
has continued to be awesome.
In addition to PJs and fuzzy socks,
there has been peppermint bark,
chocolates, little puzzles,
wind-up toys, and squishy critters.
There are occasionally papers.
The papers are the best.
Today's said "Winter Magic"--
which we found out meant
hot chocolate bombs
and a trip to see Christmas lights
Once the hot chocolate was made
(and wow, was it delicious)
We headed out.
First stop--
the #2 Christmas lights in LS,
the Magic Potty
Then to the OG light show behind Home Depot
The Magic Tree is always mandatory
and then to something new:
Winter Magic
The whole show was set to music
which was really cool
some cool displays
and Mom's favorite balls
On our way back
(through a really shady area),
we got to see the
infamous Independence Avenue Bridge
This bridge has decapitated more trucks than you can count
And then we rounded it out with a long stop
at our new favorite light show
in our very own neighborhood--
they have a Star Wars set, a Queen set,
and a few Christmas songs thrown in for good measure.
Like I said,
the papers are the best.
