We got another paper today,
and even though it was a repeat from last year,
it was the best one yet.

Melting Pot and ice skating at the Ice Terrace
The line wasn't too bad
and we couldn't wait to get on the rink
It took a minute to get our footing
but we were racing around the ice in no time
We needed to squeeze in a quick dinner
so Mom and Dad introduced us to
a KC staple--
Town Topic.
We are definitely fans.
The Melting Pot is always an adventure.
One year,
an over-served lady fell on Wes.
Another year,
it took nearly 4 hours (ok, maybe 2 or 3)
to get our chocolate.
This year was also memorable.
The oil at the table next to us
caught on fire
and smoked out the entire room.
It was pretty bad.
But with some fans and time,
it cleared out and we enjoyed our cheese and chocolate.
This is definitely becoming a holiday tradition!
