Grandma Phyllis is going to spend Christmas
with her brothers and sisters in Wathena
so we got to have Christmas early this year.
We had some lasagna and Alfredo
and LOTS of presents
I got bike lights and hiking shoes,
Tuck got his white tennis shoes,
Jack got his monitor,
and Wes got his hiking pack
We hooked Grandma up with an ugly sweater
We got Papa lots of puzzles
We got him a joke box puzzle
that was a black sky with a tiny moon
that said you needed tweezers to put together.
That didn't seem to deter him.
But I think he was more excited
to discover the box was actually holding
a bottle of whisky.
How about this thing???
Tuck got one too.
Looks like a hit for camping!
Aunt Michelle came up with the plan
to get Grandma canvas prints of our family pictures.
Grandma was thrilled
We tore through a hot chocolate bar
and a lot of dessert,
including decorate-your-own-cookies
and after playing games until 2am,
the festivities drew to a close
Whew!
What a Christmas!
We're going to need to pace ourselves!
