Tonight is my first middle school dance.
I'm headed out with my Bros
Don't we clean up nice?
We had a good time...
but not a "great" time.
We felt like they pumped it up to be something awesome
and it was just "fine."
There was a dance circle,
some people doing cool moves and backflips,
and a lot of goofing around
That was the best part--
messing around with all my pals from HPE.
The best part of the night
was when we hit Johnny's Tavern afterwards.
We (the guys) sat in one room
and the parents sat in another.
We impressed the staff and fellow customers--
several people came up to our parents
and complimented our manners
and we were really proud to leave a $69 tip
(for 8 of us!).
All in all,
it was a "good" night!
