It’s been a weird start to the Waves swim team season.
School got out really late,
Then we were in South Dakota,
So we’ve only had 3 days of practice and
It’s already meet night!
Beck had a pretty great first meet:
His medley relay took 2nd
He took off over 1 second in 50 free, setting a new PR at 35.31s
He added a bit of time in back and breast
But did take 3rd in breast
And his free relay took 4th.
Weston’s medley relay took 2nd and free medley took 3rd
It was his first 100 free for summer, coming in at 1:17.33.
He added some time in back and breast.
Tough to compete without much practice.
And Tucker?
No practice agrees with him.
His relays both took 4th.
But he took off 0.4s with a new free PR of 15.64s and 2nd place,
Took off 3.4s with a new back PR of 21.25s and 2nd place,
And took off 0.5s with a new breast PR of 23.27s and 3rd place.
Nice job, guys!
