As you know,
I picked up the trombone this year
and joined Mom and Dad
as an official band geek.
My geek-dom was sealed tonight
with my first band concert
Behind my stand,
ready to play!
We played Hot Cross Buns,
Merrily We Roll Along,
Good King Wenceslas,
and a finale of Jingle Bells
Everyone was impress.
And of course,
any Reed/Woods family performance
calls for celebratory ice cream
