We had a choice today--
Sedgwick County Zoo or Tanganyika Park.
Both had cool animals.
But Grandma and Papa could easily
join us at the zoo...
so the zoo it is!
We started in the barn
checking out the yak
and petting the goats
Is it Wednesday?
These guys were almost
as interested in us
as we were in them
We headed to the tropics next
and saw the coolest turtle exhibit
Hello, there!
This is all pretty awesome!
I got up close and personal
with an otter
REALLY up close
All these little meerkats
came running over to check us out
But the most memorable part of the day
was when we fed the giraffes
We all got a hunk of lettuce
and took turns feeding them
HELLO, THERE!
We wrapped up the day
with the gorillas
Also up close and personal.
That was definitely the theme of this zoo!

After all that,
we had a kick-back to get to
Hey!
Let's head out to dinner!
We enjoyed some pizza
at Picassos
and some dessert at Milkfloat
Another great day
in Wichita!
