We stopped to fuel up
for our whirlwind at the lake
We are true Waffle House fans!
And how about these hats?
Once we got to the cabin,
I found out Grandpa and Meemaw
had a surprise for me...
a new BIGGER 4-wheeler
Going through the introductions
B was super psyched too
It's been a while since
we've ridden!
His 4-wheeler was a bit slow
to get going,
so Grandpa took it for a spin
to get it going
or maybe he just wanted
to give it spin
Tuck had his own wheels
to play with
Jack took him for a ride too
Man, we love to ride!
The weather was so nice
we got out all our fun stuff
Push us, Dad!
Higher!
After a while,
we decided to load up
and roam the muddy trails
I was so excited
to take my new ride out
Flying down the backroads
We love this little spot
down by the lake.
We threw rocks,
tromped around the mud...
and all this fun
called for a group picture
We were having so much fun
we decided to head back,
pack some drinks and snacks,
and come back out.
Hang on a sec,
Tuck needs to go...
and now we're ready
Ranger was tired of running,
so he hitched a ride with
Mom and Dad
We grabbed the essentials--
capri suns, pistachios,
some adult beverages,
and, of course, goggles
and we were off.
But wait.
Who's that?
Mom!
She decided us boys
shouldn't have all the fun
Back at the lakeshore,
we enjoyed the evening
but it got a bit chilly in the wind.
So we loaded back up
and headed into the woods
This is a nice spot
on the other side of the trees
What?
You didn't expect me to pack my own snacks?
Dad, being goofy Dad
I, of course,
packed more than snacks.
I brought my trusty Red Rider BB gun too
Everyone took turns including Mom
and Beck
We were shooting at a little can
off in the distance.
We were impressed when Beckett hit it
Ranger just took it all in
After a bit,
we all got chilly
and headed back to the cabin
What's a trip to the cabin
without some poker?
Wonder who's going to come out big tonight?
Not pictured...Beckett.
He won.
Again.
We were up and at it again
the next day
But this time we hiked the woods
instead of driving it
Lots of good skippers down here
at the edge

As much as we'd like to stay,
we better head back.
We have to pack for tomorrow...
