My favorite show is
America's Got Talent
(AGT for short).
So when Dad saw that
one of my favorite acts,
the Illusionists,
were coming to town,
he knew what to get me for my birthday.
We headed to the Music Hall
Settled into our seats...
Kept on waiting...
...and then it started!!!
We loved the Asian guy who just kept making cards appear,
the weird guy who made a quarter disappear in his eye
and reappear in his arm,
the guy who got cut in half and put back together,
the floating paper trick,
and the mindreader.
I did NOT like the
Houdini water escape
(I was really afraid he was going to drown).
But my favorite?
The funny MC with the smaller tricks.
Hmm...a career idea?...
