How about this sunrise at the cabin?
This looks like a day filled with possibility...
...like riding in Cooper's new ride!
His Grandpa gave him this awesome Power Wheels
for Christmas
and we were eager to take it for a spin
Drive, Coop!
We did a lot of riding today.
Mom took Cooper for a ride my 4-wheeler
and now he can't get enough
Where should we ride now?
To the end of the road!
The best place for a fall Happy Hour.
This seemed like a great opportunity to take
The Chum Bucket out for a ride too
After a very muddy entrance,
we got the hang of it
Ahoy, crew!
I was marooned briefly,
but they couldn't leave me for long.
I'm way too lovable.
Since Cooper was in the boat,
you better believe Thea needed to get in the boat.
We did some tromping out of the boat
Chilled by the water
Caught up on some light reading
And enjoyed the evening
We had a brief scare
when Beck tried to pick up Coop
and they crashed onto a rock.
Thankfully, Cooper was ok
but I don't think Beckett is going to be picking up
anyone again any time soon.
He was almost more shaken up
then Cooper.
(He still doesn't like to talk about it)
Before too long, we were back to smiles
and took a few cousin pics
(Jack was busy reading his paper)
but before long
the sun was setting
and it was time to head back to the cabin
Load up
and ride out!
It ended nearly as pretty
as it started
How can a day like this
not end with dancing and frivolity?
It can't.
Frivolity is definitely called for.
