We LOVE going to the pumpkin patch every fall.
We thought about trying some place new,
but the pull of pumpkin donuts
brought us back to Carolyn's.
We made our usual loop...
Mom couldn't resist the photo op stop
(she told us to give her our cheesiest or most exasperated looks)
and then we were off to feed the animals
I mean, come ON!
Who doesn't love a pig???
We stopped for some bouncing
and competed for the highest jump
I win!
While we were bouncing,
Wes and Jack wandered off for more
awkward photo ops.
Mom says they are ruining her picture memories.
It IS pretty funny, though
Last year, this was the FASTEST slide,
so fast Mom and Dad were afraid we were going to fly off.
Not so much this year.
It was so. slow.
We all stopped along the way.
Good news though--
they got this NEW slide.
Not quite as fast as the other one last year,
but pretty fun
and definitely safer.
We hung out at the bubble station
for a long time--
can you see Tuck's huge bubble?
There weren't very many tractor bikes this year
so we made the best of the trikes.
They were pretty cool

Working our way around,
we rode the huge pipe slide
gorged on popcorn and donuts
while we cheered on the pig races
swam in the corn crib
and jumped on the huge bounce pillow
I think I won the highest jump
contest again
Only one thing left--
a ride on the wagon
out to the pumpkin patch
to find the annual "bumpkin"
(we already have 8 regular pumpkins at home--
we have a contest to find the coolest weird pumpkin)
