Our mom and dad love surprises.
They always have something up their sleeves.
Tonight we hopped in the car and drove...
We ended on the Plaza
and admired all the lights.
The first surprise was dinner at our favorite
restaurant--Brio!
But that was just the warm up.
#2--a carriage ride to see the lights!
The lights do seem prettier
while being shuttled by a horse-drawn carriage!
Awesome weather
and awesome views
That was cool!
We had a little time to spare before our
final stop
so we checked out the Tesla store
Despite some pleading,
we do NOT own a Tesla.
It's not terribly cold out here,
but let's get inside
to our third surprise!
MELTING POT!!!
Our waitress even let us
help get the fondue ready
A little of this
a little of that
makes for a delicious, memorable night
(even if they did run out of broccoli AND bananas...)
