You're never too old to watch the trains
at Union Station.
It's become one of our many
Christmas traditions
We all still crowd around the glass
and check it all out
There's always a lot to see!
Up and down!
But our favorite is always the lego set.
This year,
it was a whole zoo!
We headed outside to watch a few of the big trains
rumble under our feet
A surprise this year
was that we got to check out
Science City!
They have a huge
Human Body sort of display
right now that we took full advantage of
Wes tried to be the show-off
on the arm hang
but I put him to shame with my 1:03 hang
We lit up light bulbs
with our peddling
and flew a helicopter
One of the coolest exhibits
was this fun-house of sorts
with all these illusions to check out.
This one was our favorite
The bed was flat but the room was tilted
so you felt like you were sliding into the floor
and people were coming out of the wall.
It was really cool.
We wandered to the creative station
where Jack made a really awesome
stop animation video
and Tuck made a gingerbread house
But we played the longest at the water table
Like trains,
some things will always be a favorite.
Like hanging with your brothers
(and parents) on a Sunday afternoon...
