It was another glorious day in Florida
and after breakfast at the Today Cafe
(where Jack loudly voiced his displeasure for Hoda and Jenna)
we set out to explore the Universal Studios side of the park
Mom, Dad and Wes
ran to do the Rip Ride Rockit first thing--
a roller coaster where you get to pick
the music you listen to as you ride.
Jack and I weren't quite ready yet
so the rest of us headed to Jimmy Fallon's ride.
It was good enough that we quickly found
Mom, Dad and Wes
and headed back to do it a second time
Wandering through the halls of 30 Rock
Then it was off to see the Minions
and then the Transformers
We perfected our Woody Woodpecker laugh on his coaster
and rode the iconic ET Ride--
it's the only original ride left in the park!
We took a ride break
and checked out the Horror Make-up Show.
We were a bit disappointed they didn't show more make-up
but it was kinda cool to see how
they fake cutting people and such
Stopped for a photo-op
in Hollywood
And then on our way to lunch,
a random parade float drove on the street.
They came out, danced, and then turned around
and drove back behind the fence.
Weird.
We also saw the original DeLorean from Back to the Future!
We eventually landed in Simpson's Land
which was probably our favorite land of the day
We had some food and beers
and went on the Simpsons Ride
which was a DEFINITE favorite of the day

Big Pink--
which is a donut large enough to feed 8 people.
Voted one of the best donuts we've ever had!

Simpsons Land was pretty awesome
if Chief Wiggum does say so himself
We only had a few rides left to try in the park,
the next being MIB

They even had a Noisy Cricket!
It was a shooting game
that Mom and Mema said
had a very questionable accuracy for scoring
Weston had over 200,000 points one game
while they had 10,000.
Maybe it was user error...
Last and DEFINITELY least
was the Fast and Furious ride.
The staging was cool--
you walked through multiple garages with supped up cars
and then "met with" 2 of the F&F gang.
But the ride was awful.
Don't get us started--we have a lot to say.
Now that we were all warmed up,
Jack and I decided to be brave
and try the Rip Ride Rockit.
We took Mom's advice and played
"Devil Went Down to Georgia"
and agree--it was a pretty cool coaster.
Then we headed to the Bourne Stuntacular,
which we thought would be like other stunt shows we've seen.
It was WAY cooler!
It was set to a huge movie screen
and set pieces moved along as the screen moved
so it looked like people were walking or flying around.
At one point, one of the set pieces decoupled
and the whole show suddenly stopped
which turned out to be kind of cool
because while they reset,
a director came out and explained how everything worked.
By far, best show we've seen!
We stuck around to see the fireworks show
we've been seeing from the Hard Rock the last few nights.
Turns out it was a water AND fireworks show
which was pretty cool--it highlighted all the movies
that the rides in the park were themed after.
After hitting every ride in the park
(some of them multiple times!),
nothing left for the Amigos to do but eat some dinner
and take the water taxi home!
