Trekking to Arkansas

So we are supposed to be on a cruise this week.
Darn COVID.
So we looked at the map,
picked a safe, driveable place,
and headed out...
To Hot Springs National Park!

We got into town this evening,
and after checking into our KOA cabin,
we wanted to hit the trails for a bit.
Our first hike was a quick and easy one--
Gulpha Gorge

It was off the main campsite for Hot Springs
but it was still a cool hike.
We had to cross this stream

and scurry up a lot of rocks and hills

The view at the top was...meh.
But then we took a side trail to Goat Rock

That was cool!

Just taking a quick rest
before we finish up...

We had a yummy dinner
and settled into our tiny KOA cabin.
We didn't need much space--
the best place was out on the deck!
S'mores
and porch swings...
What more could you need?
