Lake Catherine and The Falls

Well KOA, it's been grand!

Time to set out for one last Arkansas adventure:

We packed up

and headed for Lake Catherine

and the Falls Branch Trail

It was a really pretty hike

along a Little Canyon Creek

There were lots of little fish

and crawdad to check out

The nature lover that I am,

I even held one!

We paused for a few pictures

and a few spots of rest

and took in the views

but the waterfall at the end

was really what we wanted to get to!

It was a fun day

topped off with a Freddy's parking lot picnic

for dinner

Not the cruise excursion we would have been on,

but as Tucker reminded us,

"if it weren't for Corona, 

we wouldn't have even gone to Hot Springs

this year!"

Yep,

there have been lots of silver linings

to this crazy year.
