It's been a minute since the Reeds and Keims
went on vacation together.
So when COVID messed up the Keims' trip to Michigan,
we said "Heck yeah you can come to the lake!"
While the parents went for a 3-6 mile run every morning,
the rest of us got geared up for some fun.
We don't look like it,
but we're gearing up for fun...
And fun we had!
The slack line in the front yard
and amazing spray paint craft Cohen brought
was just a warm up.

There were a lot of group pictures take this week.
Well, it's been a while since we were a group.
It's worth documenting.
And we look so good!

We had a lot of fun on Jerry
And did a lot of jumping and diving
off the boat
Our parents came up with some tasty meals too!
But this week was really
all about the water sports!
We took some epic rides
that often ended up in the water
after we mocked Dad enough
that he flipped us
But, no matter!
We'd get back on for another ride!
There were lots of combinations of riders
but we had fun no matter who we were with
There were lots of inflatables,
but we tried out some kneeboarding too

Apparently it just takes 10 people in the boat...
We had some Happy Hours on Jerry
and took more awesome pictures

We did do a few other things...
We made some AWESOME tie-dye
(which the Reeds had never done before
and the Keims were expert teachers!)
Mom was really proud of hers!
We took an afternoon off of the water
and wanted to show them the cool cave outside of town.
So we packed a lunch...
and then set off...
but turns out, the road is all grown over in the summer.
Pretty, but no way we're going to hike through a swamp of weeks
to get there.
So we walked the old river road instead
Didn't matter.
We were together.
AND...that meant we had extra time
and got to show them our favorite store--
DOLLAR GENERAL!

One day off was all we needed.
Back to the water!
There was pretend knee-boarding
(after watching Cohen)
and REAL kneeboarding!
Beckett got up this year!
And made it look easy:
Kylie wasn't going to be outdone
Even the Moms got talked into a few rounds
on the disk
There was a lot of riding
and some falling
and then a lot of hurling ourselves back into the water
whenever the boat stopped,
because, well, it's fun!
There were lots more pictures too,
because, well, it was a gorgeous and memorable week.
