The next generation

Back in the day,

our brothers learned to drive

Jack and Wes,

off into the sunset...

But now,

new ride, new drivers!

 Maybe we'll let Jack drive just a little,

for old times' sake...

We're peas in a pod

Or boys in a truck,

whichever you prefer

We met up with our friend Stephanie

from Ferris Wheel Photography today

because our family picture needed an update.

She outdid herself again...

Although when you are as good looking as us,

it's probably easy...

I heard we were going to the Royals game

So I thought I'd better dress in my

Royals Best

We look pretty good!

and we're ready for a good time!

And a good time we had!

We actually sat in the stands until the 7th inning stretch...

a new record!

We did have plenty of food to keep us busy--

popcorn, peanuts, toilet bowl candy

(thanks, Grammy J!)

We also had each other and Dad

to climb all over

The Royals won in overtime

by stealing home...

awesome.

Little Monster turns 1

It's my birthday party!!!

I got a new crown

from Papa Leo

to kick everything off!

Amber made my cake

The CUTEST cake ever!!!

But wait,

what's about to happen?

There are a lot of people looking at me

Finally!

Unlike my brothers,

I dug right in! 

Well, hello...

Allow me to eat your face!

Everything was fine...

until it wasn't fine.

We're not sure if it was a bunch of icing,

a monster eyeball,

or just too much attention,

but it all came to an abrupt end.

It was a monstrously fun party!

HPE Fair Fun

We LOVE the HPE carnival!!!

This year there was a milking contest.

That was hilarious.

Jack's a really good milker!

Mom was disturbed that it looked

too much like her pumping...

We played some games

Jumped in the bounce house

And spent time with friends

It was a good night

How is it possible that this...

I'm in a big boy car seat now!

I can stand by myself!

I cruise like a madman

and I took my first steps today!

I only eat table food.

I gave up the bottle.

I sleep through the night.

I babble and yell

I LOVE my brothers.

I LOVE to play!

I'm still a skinny thing

weighing in at about 19 1/2 pounds,

but they don't come any cuter than me!
