Scouts at the station

My den visited the fire station today.

We got to tour the truck inside and out,

crawl all over a 1950's fire truck,

and have a push-up competition with the firemen...

guess who won???

Oh yeah, that would be Den 5.

Brrr!

We're headed outside for the first snow of the year!

We got to try out Jack's snow markers

And do a little sledding

It may have only been an inch,

but we made the most of it!

With 4 kids and only 3 bedrooms to go around,

some sharing needed to happen.

So for Christmas,

Dad (with slight help from Mom...all props go to Dad)

made us Big Boys a new room.

New Year's fun

We had a pajama party for New Year's this year at our neighbor's house

Even I got to join in!

We did our thing,

playing in the sand

watching movies

The adults did their thing,

chatting and playing cards

A few of us made it to midnight

Some did not

Christmas Day fun

Santa brought a ride-on for B,

a camera for Jack,

and desk for me.

WHOA!!!

And my BELL!!!

So.  Cool.

There were a lot of great gifts

B really loved his backpack from Jack and me

But better than all the gifts were all the thanks

And hugs

And love.

Grandma and Grandpa,

Aunt Mandy and soon-to-be Uncle Kurt

came over for breakfast

and more gifts.

B was a fan of the Chiefs jersey

And we all got luggage for our next trip to Cody

And sleeping bags for our next campout

But the happiest person this Christmas

was Uncle Kurt

in the TMNT PJ's we got him!
