A large fart-like noise is heard...
Dad:  Jack, was that you?
Jack:  No, it was you!
Dad:  No it wasn't!
Jack:  Yes it was!
Dad:  Was it your foot sliding on the floor?
Jack:  Yeah.  (pause)  No.  Actually, it was my butt.

Favorite Weston sayings:
"Lookey a' dat one!"  (Look at that one)
"Want to do that some day"
"O. K."  (it's very slow and distinct)
"Wan' Taco Bell?  Oh, hot! (blowing on hand) Here go!" (not sure why he's obsessed with Taco Bell)
"Want to go brrmmm" (Want to go fast in the boat)
"Bo bo bed"  (Big Boy Bed)
"No tigers!  No Mavericks!"  (Go tigers, go mavericks)
"Bool bus! Pick up kids" (School bus, and he says pick up kids very slowly and deliberately)

Wes LOVES belly buttons.  He'll pick up his shirt and anyone around him to poke their "button" or "bee-bo"

Outside Fantastic Caverns...
Jack:  Is Monti coming with us to the caves?
Dad:  No.  Monti can't come in.
Jack:  Why not?
Dad:  They don't allow dogs in there.
Jack:  It's probably because she can't hold a ticket.  She doesn't have fingers!

In the car...
Wes:  Look!  Crane!
Mom:  Oh, a train! (I thought that's what he said)
Wes:  No, crane building.  Train choo-choo.
Oops, my bad!

The Easter Bunny brought us these funny plates

After a quick nap,

it was on to Grandma Phyllis's for another egg hunt.

We were all really excited!

Fun on Easter morning

It's Easter!!!

We've been awfully good...

Our Easter baskets are packed with good stuff--

books, electric toothbrushes, race cars, and peanut butter eggs

Now it's off to Easter Brunch with Mom's family...

Bo Bo Bed

I slept in either a double bed by myself or a king bed with Jack

our whole vacation,

so it only made sense to convert my crib 

to a "bo bo bed" (big boy bed)

when we got home!

Will this be an easy transition?

So far so good...

Vacation in Branson--Fantastic Caverns

As a final hurrah,

on our way back home,

we stopped at Fantastic Caverns for some spelunking

We were pretty excited about the cave... 

...and the jeep wagon ride

It was really dark in there!

But REALLY cool!

The Hall of Giants was the best

Think of the thousands and thousands of years it took to make all this!

Weston may have fallen asleep

(he'd had all the vacation he could take!)

but I thought it was AWESOME!

We took our time getting back home.

We found a caterpillar in the parking lot

Daddy and Wes had some deep conversation

ate at Weston's favorite Taco Bell,

threw some rocks in the lake back at Mandy's cabin,

and took an easy day.

A nice end to an AWESOME vacation!!!
