Myrtle Beach--Sharks and Knights (Day 4)

We took a break from the beach today.
In the morning we hit up Ripley's Aquarium.

They had an AWESOME shark exhibit!!!

First, we got in this bubble to get up-close and personal

Whoa!

We pet some HUGE crabs

Then we rode on a long moving walkway through an ENORMOUS shark and fish tank!

Check this one out!

The pictures don't do it justice.
The sharks were sooooo awesome!

We checked out a few other exhibits

And looked at some jellyfish

It was REALLY cool!!!!!

We grabbed a quick lunch at Margaritaville
and headed home for a nap.

We had to get ready for tonight...

For Medieval Times!!!
It was this great dinner theater with knights, kings, horses, jousting, swordfighting...
SOOOOO great!

First, we had a few drinks and bought a few
blinking treasures to use during the show.

Then we settled in for dinner.

We had the BLUE knight.
Hip-hip-hurray!

This is soooo fun!

Check out all the action!!!

 All the princesses and knights...

We even met our knight in person!

Definitely one of the highlights of the trip!!!

Myrtle Beach--We need MORE beach! (Day 3)

Today started early too (this is a theme).

After some cereal on the deck (thanks for letting us sleep, Chris!)...

And another good book...

And some playdoh...

We were off!

Easing his way in...

Soon everyone's having fun!

Me and Dad

Picking up shells

Can we go back now?

I'm getting tired!
It's not going to be pretty!

Cohen's looking cool

Hey there pretty lady!

An afternoon storm chased us off the beach

But we all had a good time on the deck anyway!

Cute pictures:

After nap and Happy Hour,
we headed into town for dinner.

We ate at this cool restaurant right on the beach called Mako's.
The popcorn shrimp and crab legs were tasty!

Then it was off to Kid's Night on the Boardwalk!

Kylie was not thrilled to be in the stroller,

so I tried to comfort her.

They had these huge slides!
Mom and I went down together

Jack went by himself.
Yep, he's airborne.

Then we stopped for ice cream.
They had over 20 flavors of soft serve ice cream!
Unfortunately, it melted really fast.
Translated = big mess.

After we cleaned up,
we headed to the Boardwalk Arcade.
Everyone loves some Skee Ball!!!

AWESOME!

On our way out,
we stopped to watch people taking a ride on the Slingshot...
Whoa.

After all us kids went to bed, Mom, Dad, and Chip went joyriding the the golf cart around the neighborhood for a couple hours.

This was an unusually named street...
Another fun day.

Myrtle Beach--Beach, beach and more beach (Day 2)

Today started early...

But after some B&G's for breakfast,
a good book

And a little playing around,

We were ready for the beach!!!!

There was a lot of digging to be done!

Everybody got to work!

What are you doing over here, Chip?

After a couple of hours, we needed to refuel and rest up.

While us kids slept,
the Moms and Dads had Happy Hour.

It definitely became the favorite time of the day!

And how can you not have a good time with that view???

Before too long, we were all back up
and joined in the fun on the deck.

Playdoh is DEFINITELY more fun when you are on the deck
looking at the ocean!

How you doin'?  Come here often?

The whole gang...
Kaitlyn (4), Jack (3), Cohen (3), Kylie (14mo), Wes (16mo)

After dinner, we crammed in the golf cart
and headed for the neighborhood playground.

Kaitlyn hangin' out

Love the tire swing!

Soon, it was time to head home.
We gotta rest up for tomorrow!!!
