TMNT hit the neighborhood

As is our tradition,
Grandpa and Gigi came over for pizza
before we hit the neighborhood
for some trick-or-treating.

We took the obligatory family picture

Let's be sure we get a good picture of our shells too

and we're off!
Mom and Dad's old friend Amy came into town again this year...
she's become part of the tradition!

We walked all over the place

I was so excited to put the candy in my bag

Wait,
can't I have a piece NOW?

We were on a mission

We were some of the cutest ones out there

We stopped at every house with a light on...
Weston wanted to get so much candy
his bag was overflowing.

Grandpa helped in the collection too

Looking good!

We were REALLY excited to go to the haunted street.

Some of the houses were pretty spooky
We even went through the haunted garage!
(Beckett may have had his eyes closed for most of it)

It was a good night

Weston met his goal

and was able to roll around in his candy

Nice haul, B!

I did pretty good too!

Jack counted all of it.
We had over 500 pieces!

Family, friends,
and more candy than we can carry?
Now THAT'S a happy Halloween!

The big soccer finale

The Sharks have had an incredible season.
It was our first time to keep score.
We've only lost 1 game this whole season!
It has all culminated in this...
the tournament.
I am so excited.

My family all gathered to watch
the first game

Can't you see their excitement?

Hmm.
They brought reading material.

I'll have to show my stuff
and get them excited!

I scored a goal
in the first 2 minutes.
It was awesome.

I had some fancy footwork,
as did my teammates.
We've been working hard this season.

What makes a successful game
according to Coach Ryan?
1. Give maximum effort
2.  Use your skills
3.  Have fun

Well, we did just that,
But we came up short,
We played 4 games in 24 hours
and lost the championship game.

We were pretty bummed.
But Coach really picked us up.

Go Sharks!

A silver medal is still pretty awesome.

And being a part of this team
is even better.

Too cute not to share

Let's see,
a little catch up...

We're OBSESSED with duplo legos.
Check out the huge hotel we're currently working on

Tucker is fiercely independent.
For example,
he got out the booster,
moved it to the top of this box,
got himself a cup,
asked for it to be filled,
and spent several minutes sipping it
in his new seat
looking very satisfied with himself.

Jack has been teaching me how to drive

Mom and I won first prize
in the neighborhood pumpkin stacking contest
(I got a cupcake!)

And this is Mom's current favorite picture...
how cute are we???
Life is good.

Trunk or treat

We'd never been to a trunk or treat before.
The HPE one didn't disappoint!

I was so happy
to get some candy!
"'ant can'"
(Want candy)

Jack wasn't in the mood to dress up

But it didn't stop us!
Where else can we wear these things?

Carve 'em up!

We have been BEGGING
to carve our pumpkins
for days!

Finally, Mom and Dad gave in!

Ok,
I don't remember this
at all
from last year!

Oooo!
I like it!

Jackson,
going for a smiling Jack 'O

Weston,
directing Dad for something scary

Beckett and Mom,
working on something scared

We were pretty proud

Looking good!

And onto the porch...
let the countdown to
Halloween
begin!

Trying out our costumes

We like to get as much use out of our costumes
as possible.
Especially when they are as
AWESOME
as this:

GiGi outdid herself this year!

Tonight we joined up with Austin and Mikayla
at Night of the Living Farm.
It's becoming a tradition!

There was a hayride,
animals to pet,
a cool scavenger hunt with flashlights,
and our favorite Mad Science tent
This guy couldn't stump Jack.
He knew the answers to all of the scientist's questions
about matter.

I liked the electricity ball.
My hair stood on end!

After the farm,
we headed out for some late-night drinks
and appetizers.
I'd say we had a good time!

Ok, Mom.
Enough pictures!
