Howling Husky Debut

Oh boy,
is the fam excited tonight!

Everyone gathered and waited

and passed the time

with a little silliness

but now it's time for seriousness

It's the PLMS Showcase!
Our choir,
the Howling Huskies,
along with 3 other elementary schools
and PLMS
collaborated tonight
for a night of music and fun.

In we trooped

and passed the time
(we're mostly of listening to everyone else)

and then it was our turn!

We sang "Truly Brave"
and "Just Chillin'"

Unlike the other schools,
we had different parts
and lots of dance moves

We were DEFINITELY the best
if I do say so myself
(and I do.)

Guess where we headed afterwards?
Ice cream.
It's a tradition.

And the perfect way to end the night!

Who wants to wrestle?

My brothers have played
a lot of different sports.
Since my soccer coach
is also one of the high school wrestling coaches,
it was a perfect opportunity
to try something brand new...
WRESTLING!

5 of my soccer team buddies
are on the wrestling squad too!

Today was our first practice.
We learned the proper stance

How to grab the other wrestler

and how to "dance around"
as I called it

Oh, I think this is going
to be good!

New art

Dad noticed
we hadn't painted anything new
in about 2 years.
So let's get to it!

The finished products were
pretty awesome!

And look even better
on the wall!

Finally back to the cabin

Fall is always so busy--
we haven't been down since Labor Day!!!
So Truman Lake,
here we come!

It's been a while since
we took some inside pictures.

It's a pretty good looking place,
if we do say so ourselves!

Not pictured:
our room.
We were sleeping.

After a nice rest,
we're up and at 'em
for some good ol' cabin fun today!

We hit the Cheese Factory

and raked a ton of leaves

After all that work,
we deserved a relaxing night
around our new firepit!

Toasty!

Hard to see,
but we had a bubble blowing contest

and roasted some s'mores

Ahhh!
Cabin, we missed you!

Lots of tricks and treats

Happy Halloween!

Ours started with a huge party at school.
Mom says here's her proof she worked
the slime table at Jack's party
(notice the distinct avoidance of his mother).

After all the parties,
we had our annual costume parade.
This year, for something different,
we had it outside on the playground.
It was MASSIVE!

Here I am!
Super proud of my costume!

Weston suddenly decided
being a Power Ranger
was not what he wanted to be
(even though this was
ALL his idea).
Note the turned inside out
ninja shield

Jack, on the other hand,
has now fully embraced
his poop emoji

After school,
we gobbled up some pizza
and hit the road with GiGi and Pappo
to see what the neighborhood had to offer

Let's do this!

Grandpa was very helpful

We had a lot of fun
running from house to house

We met some friends along the way

Imaginary ones too

There were plenty of spooky houses

What a night!

Now, let's see what we got...

LOTS of good stuff!

Ugh.
My tummy hurst already.

Until next year!
