Dinos and Diggers REVIVED! T turns 3 and B turns 5!

Yep,
that was the cheesy line on our
birthday invites.
Mom loves that kind of stuff.

But it really WAS
dinos and diggers take 2!

All our cousins
and friends from school
got together at Paradise park
for some pizza and fun

And there was, of course, cake.

So happy to be 5!

And thrilled to be 3!

Making wishes...

Thanks for doing all this, Mom and Dad!

We jumped into presents.

We got some really good toys and books

and some CRAZY candy
(I love Mom's face in this picture!)

I got my own big boy scooter!

And then it was time to play

We all made crowns
(Mira, Nathan, Tuck, Reid)

(me, Gavin, Davonee, Emma)

(The Grandmas and Jack and Wes)

Turned out pretty good!

Looked good on Grandpa too

Then we got to cook

Jack is workin' in

Little acorn snacks!

And finally...
the foam factory!

We squeezed in some arcade time too.
I'm pretty good at skee ball

Tuck likes the shooting games

Thanks, everyone!
Happy birthday to us!

Look out, Jefferson City!

I've been counting down to this day ALL YEAR!

We've been studying Missouri history
and government all year.

So today,
we get to see it in action, and
the entire 4th grade from HPE
is headed to Jefferson City!
I packed travel games and snacks.
We watched movies on the drive.

We toured the Governor's mansion
and the capitol building,
met our congress woman, Ms. Rebecca Roeber,
and saw Thomas Hart Benton's mural.

It was an awesome day,
one that we won't forget
any time soon!

Sharables

iPhones have made it super easy
to sneak in some pics
whatever we are doing.

Mom caught me peacefully sleeping.
She says I look like an angel
and so different with my big brown eyes closed.

We've been having Lego challenges--
a race to see who can build the best creation.
We've tried boats, airplanes, and few others.

This isn't the real Poopdeck,
but that's what Dad called his boat.
We all voted his best.

Here's what was left of Mom and Tuck's airplane

We LOVE the game
Just Dance.

Mom jumps in all the time.
She usually wins.
She says it's because she's been dancing
longer than all of us put together.

Still pictures don't do it justice.
Jack can really bust a move.

Pictures in the power wheels
are also good ones.

But this.
This is the current favorite picture.
Thanks, Apple.

Where is spring?

Holy moly!
GIANT flakes came down today.
Mom and I ran out to check it out.

It didn't take long for the yard to be covered.
They were big enough to tasty
when they landed on your tongue.
They filled up your hand
if you were able to catch one.

Well,
if you can't beat winter,
you might as well enjoy it!

A boy worth celebrating

You only turn 3 once.
And when you are the youngest of 4,
sometimes you get overlooked
because everyone else has already done it.

Well NOT THIS YEAR!

Not only did we celebrate on my birthday yesterday,
but today we went out to dinner for my birthday
and went to hang out with Austin and Kayla...
for more birthday fun!

I didn't eat much for dinner at Jazz
(even though I begged to go there for dinner!)
but the beignets were good.

And THEN
Aunt Michelle and Kayla made me a cake.
It even had Paw Patrol on it.

Three might just be my favorite age.

T turns 3!

Birthdays call for celebrations!

Coffee dates

Cupcakes and movies nights

And of course, presents!

I'm proud to be 3!!!

Student of the Month

Mom and Dad got a letter a few weeks ago
telling them I was chosen as
Student of the Month
for the 4th grade at HPE.

Mom emailed Mrs. Gallick
(my teacher--she nominated me)
and asked when I would find out.

Mrs. Gallick suggested they keep it a secret
so I would be surprised at the assembly.

And boy was I surprised!

Me and the other grade winners for April

Pretty cool.

Mom, Dad and Mrs. Gallick were pretty proud.
I am too.

Spooky sound

This book is one of our very favorites.
It's about Lightning and Mater
trying to find the source of a spooky sound.
Beckett can tell the story by heart.

BUT...
it's been awhile since we read it.
I don't remember it very well.

Ahhhooooooo...

That spooky sound makes me nervous!

I can't look!

Eggs, eggs and MORE eggs!

We've got our Easter sweaters on
(it's all of 25 degrees outside!)...
we're ready for some eggs!

Even though it's April Fool's Day,
the Easter Bunny didn't fool us!

Those eggs were everywhere!

We all had a heck of a collection

Mr. EB led us on a the treasure hunt too--
nothing in the fridge

but there were water bottle hiking packs
under the sink

A game or two in the deep freeze

squirt guns under the TV

and baskets hanging from the ceiling!

We made out pretty good!

Next we headed to Aunt Ellen's for brunch.
Did you know there are 8 great grandsons
and only 1 great granddaughter over here?
Good looking crew

And now...
more eggs!

They were EVERYWHERE!

There were other cool things in her basement too.
We got a bit distracted

And then,
we topped off the day
with one last hunt at Grandma Phyllis's

RUN!!!

You gotta be quick
to beat all the others!
We have enough candy and sweets
to last until Halloween!

Happy Easter!
