We LOVE our playgym.

The swings are great and so is the rock wall,

but the SLIDE is the best!

Today, we decided to go down together.

Then run up the ladder to do it again!

Way fun!!!

We'd been meaning to go to a Mavericks game all winter and just never made it.

Luckily, Mom heard a commercial on the way to work this morning.

And guess what?

It was their last game of the year!

First we headed to Joe's Crab Shack for some dinner.

Everyone was in a great mood...

Well, almost everyone...

Oh, wait.  Jack changed his mind.

Happy now!

I was not about to be left out of the bibs.

I won't wear one at home,

but you better believe if Dad is wearing one, 

I'm wearing one!

Dad's says "I like it spicy"

Mom's says "Crabalicious"

Mine says "I do it my own way" 

After some dancing in the aisles to "Car Wash"

and getting a monkey and puppy from the balloon man... 

It was time to get to the game!!!

I'm intently watching

(for all of 2 minutes)

Jack and Dad were really into it

Even though there was a fight about every 2 minutes,

and an Oiler player AND the Oiler coach were evicted from the game,

and there were over 11 goals scored,

and there was a dancing horse,

and there was free stuff falling from the sky,

I still needed to find things to entertain myself with...

Jack learns to READ!

It may not be Pride and Prejudice, but Jack is learning to read (yep, he's only 4!)

It's a book called Mat.  It's about Mat and his friend Sam and their adventures.  There's not a whole lot they can do using only the letters S, M, A, and T and sight words (on, the), but it's a story nonetheless.  "Mat sat on Sam" always gets a laugh.

Grandma Phyllis repainted her kitchen

and asked us to create some masterpieces to hang on the wall to finish the look.

We put a lot of hard work into it...

and used our favorite colors (pink of course).

If they look half as good on the wall as they do on our dining room table,

we think you'll be pleased!

(with moving dinosaurs, a dig site, and a dinosaur train!!!),

strawberry-banana smoothies at Roxberry,

and a bubble bath in the jaccuzi?

SPRING!

Even if it's doing things you probably aren't suppose to do,

like stand on the picnic table and take a ride in the baby swing, 

it sure feels great to be outside!!!

At preschool, when 2 kids start to fight, Miss Annie and Miss Keisha tell the kids to "walk away" and stop bothering each other.  It apparently works for dogs too...

The other night at dinner, Monti was hanging out right under West's chair, hoping to catch a bit of chip or some cheese.  Weston had enough and YELLED "Not nice!  WALK AWAY, MONTI!  Walk away!"  Unfortunately, "walk away" is not a command Monti knows, but it was a nice try West!

Birthday Parties

Today we had not one,

but TWO birthday parties to go to!!!

First, we headed to the Belton Community Center for Kayla's.

After some munchies, cookies, and presents,

we hit the pool for some fun!

After a heavy 3 hour nap,

we headed for party #2 at "Papa Janice's" house.

It's "Aunt Meena's" birthday too!!!

After some tasty catfish cooked up by Papa,

we headed downstairs for some minigolf.

Jack was really good!
