So where have we been? What have we been up to?
What has been keeping Mom away from the blog for the first time since she started it
3 years ago???
Well, let's see.
Weston is getting so big.
Drooling lots, as you can see.

And overall, playing it cool.
He sleeps through the night now, which Mom and Dad are thrilled with.

They had to teach him to do it (there was some screaming and crying involved),
but now everyone is happier.
In August, we went to the State Fair with our friends Mike, Amber and Mikayla.

Mmm, 2 foot corndogs!
Weston and I were baptized as well.
My godparents are Meghan and Justin Stigge and
Weston's are Mike and Amber Heinz.

We also went to the circus.
Even Weston loved that.

And most fun yet, our friends Chip, Chris, Kaitlyn, Cohen, and Kylie came for a visit.
We ate at Fritz's and played in the fountains at Crown Center.
We went to Paradise Park.
And we took lots of baths together (us three oldest kids).

Me and Kaitlyn in our towels.

We had a blast. Bath time was a highlight of every evening.
Bath time is a highlight of every evening!

In September, Weston started eating solid foods.
He's a really good eater.
Lately, he's a big fan of doing it by himself.

In September, Mom also went on a job search.
After weeks of debating and weighing the options,
she decided to take a permanent position at Children's Mercy in the NICU.
Woo-hoo!
As she says, after 27 years of school and training, it feels good to have a job!
In October, Mom and I went to Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch with preschool.
We got to pet a bunch of animals, go on a hayride, and even pick a pumpkin out of the patch!
The weather in October was AWESOME,
so we went on our first family frisbee golf outing.

I tried to give Dad some coaching.
It's been awhile since anyone played frisbee golf!
We hung out on the deck, Mom and Dad and me...

...and West.

Later in the month, our friends Debbie, Clay and Teagan came for a visit.
We went to see the Fischers (Andrea, Matt, Ella, and Kate) up at their family orchard and pumpkin patch.
There were tons of apples and pumpkins for picking.

And wooly worms too.
Everyone had a pretty good time.

We also went to the rodeo with Grandma Janice, Grandpa Mike, Mandy and her friends.
(Sorry, no great pictures).
We had a Halloween party with our neighbors and carved pumpkins too
(again, no stellar pics).
We watched some football and cheers for our Tigers.

As I like to say "MIZ-MIU" (I'm working on it).
Mom and Dad have caught some pretty good pics...
Who is who?
(Me first, West is second)
(Again, Me first, West second).
Cute, huh?
Weston and I are best friends!

He's pretty adorable and more and more fun to have around.

Here's hoping Mom can keep up with us and the blog from here on out...
