North lost to LSHS this year in the football playoffs,
Which really smarted at the time.
But then LSHS just kept winning…
And are playing in the State Championship tonight!
Rather than just watch from home,
We headed to Johnny’s to cheer them on with our fellow Lee’s Summit-ers.
Our good friend Sully is the Tigers kicker—
And he had a heck of a game
Broncos, Tigers—
Regardless of which side of Langsford we live on,
We’ll still cheer on our friends!
And they won!
State Champs in Lee’s Summit!
