Wonderful Wonderscope

Mom was a bit burned out at work,
so she took the day off,
grabbed a few donuts to celebrate National Donut Day,
called our friend Olli,
and we headed to Wonderscope for the morning...

It was our first time there,
and will not be our last!

We started the day with this cool vacuum tunnel system

You put the scarves in,
it sucks them up,
zig-zags around,
and shoots them out

Pretty cool!

The water room was a hit too

 See,
you connect all the tubes together to get the water
to run where you want it to go

Three future engineers...
like fathers, like sons!
(Olli's dad is an engineer too)

In the art room,
we made paper plate snakes

I even cut mine out by myself!

West tried out the face painting

And we moved on to the vet clinic...

Do you have an appointment?

Drs. Reed,
saving the puppies
one at a time

Everyone needs clean bedding

And a good brushing

The roller coaster room
was pretty fun

Olli explained the finer points of gears
to his mom

We rolled golf balls down huge ramps,

did a little shopping,

and harvested the garden

Olli and West got a bit kick out of the puppets

Ruff!

This guy almost had to come home with us--
it was love at first hug

We made a second trip to the vet clinic.
It was definitely our favorite room!

To top off the morning,
we headed to Fritz's for lunch

A final train ride with a friend...

...makes for a very good morning!
